The name Amazonite is derived from the word "Amazon". Amazonite is a opaque stone with stripped blue and white or blue-green colour. Amazonite also occurs in yellow, pink, red and gray. The stone has a vitreous luster, sometimes with a sheen.
Caring
Amazonite is sensitive to pressure and are little brittle.
